The Domes

Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory (The Domes) is a conservatory located at Mitchell Park in Milwaukee. It is owned and operated by the Milwaukee County Park System, and replaced the original Milwaukee Conservatory which stood from 1898 to 1955. The three domes display a large variety of plant life and educate thousands of visitors each year about the importance and variety of green spaces across the globe.

In 2008 the Conservatory was closed for several months for renovations. Project EverGreen is partnering with the County Park System and local landscape contractors to design and install a new landscaped entrance to The Domes. The project is expected to be finished by late summer.

Sports Field Renovations

Each year, droves of school age kids in Milwaukee are exposed to the many benefits of green spaces through school and community sports programs. Years of heavy use have left many local sports field in need of renovations. Project EverGreen is spearheading an effort by local landscape contractors to renovate 20 school and community sports fields in time for the fall sports season.
